A day at the mall or a theme park can result in major disruptions if a child wanders from the family. We have always believed that an ID card was a necessary part of an outing. MacNanny provides a simple way to print an ID card for each child.
When you select ID Cards item from the Options menu, MacNanny displays the ID Cards window (see Figure 14).

To display a child's information on the front of the ID card, select the name from the Select an individual list. Next, you can elect to display either the mother or the father’s office information on the back of the card. You can also edit any of the information on the front or back of the card. Make sure that any information you enter is visible in the field.
You can also use the Font, Size, and Style menus to change the style of text on each side of the card.
When you select Print from the File menu or click the Print icon, MacNanny will print the front of the ID card. MacNanny will prompt you to turn the sheet of paper over and place it back in the printer so that MacNanny can print the back of the card.
We have found that index stock makes excellent ID cards. You can take the finished ID card to an office supply store and laminate it so that it is more durable.
Check the information for accuracy and completeness of your ID cards after they are printed.
